This messenger-style bag can load-out numerous modular containers on the front surface, but keep them hidden/protected under the unassuming flap. The flap compresses bulk with over-sized lock-buckle-straps (which are also removable from the bag.) The flap itself can be removed from the bag in a few seconds (it is mounted on the rear with an ingenious flat-lock system.) It has a large loop-fastener area which also fits our available i.d. window patch. The patch can be secured to the flap w/ our Civilian¨ Rewind cable gear retractor. The new 2012 MOD BagTM now features a luggage-handle velcro/webbing mount on the back for convenient airport travel. For the new direct access flap zipper, you can purchase one of our removable flaps available in various colors. This is a new feature currently built onto the removable flaps only and means you dont have to open the buckles to get to the main bay area! PLEASE NOTE: The new 2012 version no longer comes with shoulder pad and stabilizer strap (available as options). PATCHES, SHOULDER PAD, AND STABILIZER NOT INCLUDED.
